Cuddle Up and Read Every Day - CURED, Inc.
is a non-profit literacy program designed to promote and encourage daily reading among elementary school children.
Partners with various agencies and community organizations to provide an annual program where all activities focus on the theme of reading.
Gives a new book to each child who attends the annual event.
Tutors students weekly - kindergarten, first and second graders - during literacy periods at an elementary school.
Provides shared reading and storytelling to children during summer camp.
Reads African American books to all classes (K-5) at an elementary school during the month of February.
Participates in other community activities upon request.
Offers reading strategies and techniques to parents to assist them in helping their children learn to read.
Our Annual FUN DAY was spectacular! We partnered with a children's author and former NFL football linebacker with a themed Books Go Sports.
StoryWalk is our New Outdoor Reading encouraging Reading while getting outside for Fun activities.
